Doubtful Sound, NZ: A precarious name for a honeymoon destination.
I'm allergic to cold but swam in Antarctica. I proposed on a mountain in Iceland, got married on a farm in Maine and honeymooned in New Zealand. Someday my wife and I will travel somewhere warm. I try to walk slowly and look up when I can. I'm riddled with social anxiety but do really do well in crowds. I am unashamed of my love of birds and marine mammals. I’ve played with dusky dolphins in the wild and been lulled to sleep by a Weddell seal. I feel better when I am outside. It scares me when I don’t dream for a long period of time. I go through an identity crisis every few years. I am overdue for one. I watched too much tv growing up but it was mostly PBS so it could have been worse. Part of what helps me as a writer is that I was on the account side for five years. Part of what limits me as a writer is that I was an account person for five years.
